We take a glance back at our first year in the South West

Down in Somerset our SW team have been kept busy this past year and a half. Tents have been going up in pub gardens all over the South West and we've been visiting some fantastic new client venues for 2023!

Glastonbury Festival 2022

Glastonbury was back with a bang in 2022, celebrating a belated 50th anniversary! Blessed with glorious sunshine, it was a spectacle to behold and we were there to make sure all our Worthy Farm clients were set up with their stretch tents.

A vital to every festival, EE provided charging points all around the site - we were on hand to provide them with a VIP stretch tent in the EE Recharge Garden.

MUTA Members Day 2023

This March, our Operations Director and Intent South West Manager, Matt Rivers, was invited to be on a panel of experts at MUTA’s Members Day 2023 as a leading specialist in stretch tent design and installation. The day was hosted at the prestigious Silverstone Circuit with views over the famous track!

MUTA is the UK's only trade association dedicated to marquees, tents and structures and this is the first time anyone in the stretch tent industry has been invited to sit on the panel at this event, so we were very excited!

When we are booked at a festival or event we like to try and maximise our coverage onsite, in order to bring the total cost down and strike up a long term relationship with that production company or festival. We have a huge stock of stretch tents and we like to use them.

CAD & 3D plans, elevations and visualisations

For more involved venues and structures we can build 3D models of the tent in the design phase. We’ll advise on best practise and how to gain maximum effect from using a stretch tent in an given situation. Full health and safety documentation for our work supplied both before rigging and after completion.

Brand activations, stretch tent sales and touring pitches

Big brands are always looking to stand out with their activations. Aside from our extensive hire stock we can offer custom and branded canopies made to order via the MyTent management service. With MyTent, we’ll rig, store and clean the tent in-between events, taking the hassle out of owning a canopy and managing a tent from start to finish.
