Stretch tent riggers and warehouse assistant required in Yeovil
Intent are looking for full time stretch tent riggers to carry out installations, removals, and job loading/unloading - based from the Yeovil warehouse, in the South West of England.
Working with stretch tents is unlike working with any other structure. Every tent is different and no two days or installation are ever the same. Stretch tents rigged properly will constantly test your knowledge and judgement. We have an expanding business and this role reflects that. The initial focus will be to develop rigging skills and an understanding of what is required to be a crucial team member. Moving forward, the role will develop into:
Leading installation teams
Working at our warehouse assisting in the preparation and maintenance of equipment
Design and installation of bespoke structures
DELIVERY
We seek an individual or individuals, who will learn to deliver these structures throughout the year. We operate for a diverse range of clients. One day you’ll be rigging a technically complex tent on a rooftop in central London, the next rigging a large capacity venue in a field. Attention to detail is required, as is a strong work ethic and being physically fit.
DEVELOPMENT
This role offers an opportunity to grow within the company. We take on projects everyday which challenge us, if you can integrate with our team and have the desire to make headway and progress then you’ll find a home with us.

If you have experience rigging Stretch Tents then get in touch. Experience in working on event sites, structure building, or hard physical outdoor work also welcome to apply. We’ll consider applicants who have some trade knowledge or skills which may add to our team (building, fabrication, landscaping etc). Above all we are looking for reliable and hardworking candidates.
We are based near Yeovil BA22 8JB and as such require applicants within a reasonable commuting distance. Start times vary every day, hours can be long and 6am starts are not unusual. Own transport is essential.
DETAILS
Pay starts at £9.90 per hour, but experienced applicants will be offered between £10-£15 per hour depending on previous relevant rigging experience. Zero hours basis to begin with – full time contract for the right person may be available.
Full Clean UK Driving Licence Essential, LWB experience preferred. If you have tickets for forklifts, telehandlers or similar this will be taken into account.
Training, Tools & Support provided. Enthusiasm, Commitment & Drive required.
