Designing and building VIP tents for festivals and live events

Today’s competition in the event market means that festival organisers and event producers need to keep delivering the highest quality shows, event sites and structures to keep the clients coming. Here is a collection of some of our favourite VIP hospitality structures and areas that we have worked on recently.

The Mahiki Rum bar featured at the Chestertons Polo in the Park, at Hurlingham Park in West London. Beautifully rigged chino coloured stretch tents covering the premium cocktail bar (see picture above).

Our work with the Halo Group at Epsom Derby got the crowd talking. Halo’s Creative Structure System makes multi-level platform structures for use as bars and viewing areas which we then rig our stretch tents over. This 35m wide, two storey viewing platform served champagne and refreshments overlooking the parade ring at Epsom Derby in 2016.

AEG’s British Summer Time Festival, held annually at Hyde Park always draws in the rock stars, celebrities and movers and shakers. The VIP area is exclusively stretch tents, complete with three bars, food concessions and outdoor seating. Produced to the highest standards and being used by rock and roll legends as well as corporate parties – the VIP garden has a reputation for the very best in event hospitality and entertainment.

Below we see another collaboration with the talented Halo Group. This time for Qatar Goodwood Festival, overlooking the parade ring. This two storey hospitality structure is finished off by one of our white stretch tents. Providing a roof cover, but also a finishing aesthetic that really stands out.

When restaurant designer Justin Gilbert took his famous brasserie, Blixen, out to Latitude Festival in 2016 he called on us to create a unique structure to feed his diners in relaxed yet functional surroundings. Serving top quality food and refreshments under his 20m x 30m stretch canopy, complete with stage and bar – they were buzzing for the entire weekend.
